Dr. Joseph D. Rich is a native of Missouri who loves dogs, snowboarding, and owns Family Focus Eyecare. After founding the clinic in 2015, he realized the need for specialized eye care services beyond general eye health. As a result, he started to focus on Pediatrics, Ocular Disease, and Dry Eye Management. This led him to explore advanced treatments for Eye Disease and Dry Eye, including IPL PhotoTherapy.
During the initial demonstration, Dr. Rich, who suffers from Rosacea, experienced immediate relief for his dry eyes and facial redness with IPL PhotoTherapy. He recognized the potential of this technology for himself and his patients. After performing the therapy on patients, he received positive feedback not only on their dry eye symptoms but also on the aesthetic changes in their skin and face. Consequently, patients sought additional treatments for cosmetic improvements.
As a result of this growing interest, Dr. Rich's love for skin care and aesthetic procedures grew, and he eventually founded Retuva: Eye Face Spa.
